poeticized practice piece pulled (pppp) from a wip

a gnat never comfortable
trying to fit in with a swarm
and loiter around heads,
pestering them, found happiness

could be had in being alone,
really took to the role
of a maverick gnat,
who also happened to be

the smallest gnat of all
the smallest gnats; beats its wings
and floats to a tune tender
fingers slowly pull from

a mellow viola
sheltered in one of the few
surviving civilization rooms
in one of the few remaining pockets

that the dark side did not yet
penetrate; what else can it do
in these kinds of times, knows this
the smallest gnat of all

the smallest gnats – such a small
gnat that should it appear
anywhere else to anyone else
that one this gnat appeared to

could assume it was a comma
no more than eight points or nine points
at max that would never
experience boldness

About Timmy the Scribbler

Love to write all kinds of stuff I love writing so many different kinds of stuff it is a constant struggle to narrow the focus to a manageable handful and let the others go. But a few years ago I dipped my fingers into a poetry pie and of all my uncertainties, one thing that is no uncertainty is that it is one passion that must remain, so maybe that's the one. I do dearly delight in chopping up fictional works into stanzas and syllables.
