reorientation

I’ve not consulted a youtube pep talk even once since arriving here.

But I do recall one given by John Cleese. He spoke of what I’ll call Going the Extra Mile.

That too has begun to happen. It’s a bit scary because there is a worry of something flying away. But if looked at another way: like I’m lately looking at what I’ll call First Ideas and felt satisfied they would work okay, but now wondering maybe a better idea is hiding behind the one I thought was good enough. It slows things down a lot. But that just means you get to spend more time in it.

About Timmy the Scribbler

Love to write all kinds of stuff I love writing so many different kinds of stuff it is a constant struggle to narrow the focus to a manageable handful and let the others go. But a few years ago I dipped my fingers into a poetry pie and of all my uncertainties, one thing that is no uncertainty is that it is one passion that must remain, so maybe that's the one. I do dearly delight in chopping up fictional works into stanzas and syllables.
