repenting with redos 2

once upon a time this hamster
basically happygolucky
deplanes, crinkles
whiskersnout because a nearly
murderous humidity
lounges in red but shrugs – the basically
happygolucky hamster

shrugs – and says the layout
looks mighty livable
as the pamphlets pictorially
depicted so whistles while unpacking
and then getting into the building plans
while sipping pekoe teas

and seeing to shrubbery trims,
notices peripherally
the humidity deepen
and darken but increases
whistles in volume
and rate so to subconsciously ignore

suffocation symptoms
and says the movement in the background has
meaning but plays double dumb deep down
knowing a quick simple glance would show
walls believed belonged to dead leather
are scales and the boa
constrictor is very much alive

*I could nor would never design a design or shoot a shot for a print or pillow that I like nearly as much as I like this poem and I could tinker with this poem and tinker with no other poem for a month if not a quarter of a year*

About Timmy the Scribbler

Love to write all kinds of stuff I love writing so many different kinds of stuff it is a constant struggle to narrow the focus to a manageable handful and let the others go. But a few years ago I dipped my fingers into a poetry pie and of all my uncertainties, one thing that is no uncertainty is that it is one passion that must remain, so maybe that's the one. I do dearly delight in chopping up fictional works into stanzas and syllables.
