now shall the peonies entertain

peonies have powers
for now and weak would be
he or she who’d try to
overthrow peony
power – maybe when the first

two and then three pioneers
of pink and white roped secure
the stationed basin who in these foothills
certainly reigns as the senior
fixture – a band of rogue

rugosas were without a cause
they could get too sore over – they
and the sorrel encampments
lost hold of memories
but peonies let the sorrel

and the band of rogue rugosas
enjoy fancy feelings – oh hello
you crooners dressed in all yellow,
it isn’t your fault a few purples
were not planted amongst thee

About Timmy the Scribbler

Love to write all kinds of stuff I love writing so many different kinds of stuff it is a constant struggle to narrow the focus to a manageable handful and let the others go. But a few years ago I dipped my fingers into a poetry pie and of all my uncertainties, one thing that is no uncertainty is that it is one passion that must remain, so maybe that's the one. I do dearly delight in chopping up fictional works into stanzas and syllables.
