squirt through the slip

go give chase to a tear
while the world sleeps in a cocoon
where a dream is not considered

criminal and being slick
and quick through the fissure
running in pink before a new

hour’s wink will bring total
collapse to every
structure and every structure’s

miniscule coffee stirrer struts
who were born in plastic
molds so they don’t splinter

so much as melt but surely
you’ll discover scattered crumbs
that if enough were swept they may

suffice for fire-starting tinder,
meaning toothpicks were in those days
employed by a sculptor in bud

but how gloomy we turn
before hitting the road
to see how far we go

About Timmy the Scribbler

Love to write all kinds of stuff I love writing so many different kinds of stuff it is a constant struggle to narrow the focus to a manageable handful and let the others go. But a few years ago I dipped my fingers into a poetry pie and of all my uncertainties, one thing that is no uncertainty is that it is one passion that must remain, so maybe that's the one. I do dearly delight in chopping up fictional works into stanzas and syllables.
