just perplexed I guess

(this is not to criticize the bible itself, because I personally feel it is no accident it remains so popular), but it does come across as a curious quirk of human nature, that you could attend Sunday School and read and learn about floods wiping out humanity and angels wanting to get it on with earth women or earth men wanting to do it with angels and daughters getting their fathers drunk and then libidinal activity ensues…. you have murders and orgies and crucifixions and whippings and apocalypse and adultery and infanticide…. and here I fret over whether someone might find offensive or inappropriate an inclusion of a couple ‘fucks’ or allusions to adult activities in a humble, self-published book of verbiage I dare to loosely call poetry.

Heck I bet if I wrote stories lauding the virtues and pleasures in creating huge carbon footprints and the joys of exploiting the earth’s resources… hm.

A side note: are there smoking and non-smoking areas in the RJ Reynolds’ offices?

About Timmy the Scribbler

Love to write all kinds of stuff I love writing so many different kinds of stuff it is a constant struggle to narrow the focus to a manageable handful and let the others go. But a few years ago I dipped my fingers into a poetry pie and of all my uncertainties, one thing that is no uncertainty is that it is one passion that must remain, so maybe that's the one. I do dearly delight in chopping up fictional works into stanzas and syllables.
