Modify. Let’s see what modify means.
Check out that crazy goose on the caboose
on the high side of the aerial
avenue. See, we ain’t so disparate
in many a practically
carbon copy way, but wait – you see?

Getting sidetracked already. And I could
while season after season, jacket
of leather to a shredded t-shirt
modifying everything above
and below because a crew screeched just now
outside, banging the glass, saying they brought

a truckload of concrete
and they have a special this week
on crickets and I say where will you put
all those crickets; crickets go all night
singing around here; so we’ll discuss
options and if they work with butterflies

About Timmy the Scribbler

Love to write all kinds of stuff I love writing so many different kinds of stuff it is a constant struggle to narrow the focus to a manageable handful and let the others go. But a few years ago I dipped my fingers into a poetry pie and of all my uncertainties, one thing that is no uncertainty is that it is one passion that must remain, so maybe that's the one. I do dearly delight in chopping up fictional works into stanzas and syllables.
